Overview
Non-Interactive Player exists to satisfy the needs of traditional, non-interactive signage. All inbound and outbound interactive options - options initiated either directly or indirectly by an audience member - are removed from this Player.
NOTE: The underlying software is identical whether using Player or Non-Interactive Player. Only the license is different.
Interactive Options Removed from Non-Interactive Player
The following features are disabled when using a Non-Interactive Player:
- Touch (An "x" icon will appear in any touched location when using a Non-Interactive Player on a touch display)
- Mouse (An "x" icon will appear under the clicked location when using a Non-Interactive Player)
- Keyboard events
- Text Input Asset
- Speech Recognition
- Sensors (like Nexmosphere)
- Face Detection
- Sightcorp DeepSight
- Intel OpenVINO
- External Triggers
- Local Network Triggers (e.g. RFID/NFC)
- Web Triggers
- Tangible Object Detection
- Incoming Remote Actions
- Tablet Orientation
Available Features in Non-Interactive Player
If it's not in the list above, then the feature remains available. For example, the following features are included in the Non-Interactive Player.
- Interface Assets
Any connection to external data sources or business logic can be part of an experience. This includes use of API Explorer. - Headless CMS
Use Headless CMS to control and distribute the content that will appear in your experience. - Analytics
Collect data for statistics such as number of media runs or proof of play.
Purchasing Non-Interactive Player Licenses
The Non-Interactive Player option is located just next to the standard Player option on the Intuiface pricing page.
Managing Non-Interactive Player Licenses
There is no difference between the management of Non-Interactive Player licenses and the management of standard Player licenses.
