Overview
When Intuiface is configured to work with a customer's Identity Provider (IdP), Intuiface users can log into various Intuiface products and services using their corporate email address and password - i.e. SSO via federated identity management. This article explains the login process.
SSO authentication support:
- Composer: YES
- My Intuiface / User Community / Technical Support: YES
- Player: NO
Alternative activation methods should be used.
NOTE:
- Only Enterprise-level Intuiface accounts can take advantage of the SSO feature.
- Only Composer Version 6.7 or later supports SSO-based authentication. For previous versions of Composer, Intuiface accounts requiring SSO authentication will have to enter a license key.
Logging in using Single Sign-On
Composer
To log into Composer using Single Sign-On, look for and click the link "Login using SSO", located somewhere on the login screen.
When clicking that button, a tab will be opened in your default web browser.
- If you have an active authentication session you will be asked to confirm the use of your existing email domain for authentication.
- Otherwise, a dialog will ask you to enter your email address. Enter your corporate login credentials.
If authentication succeeds, a browser-hosted pop-up will appear with a button enabling you to "Open" Composer. You must click this "Open" button. Otherwise, Composer will not be aware of authentication success.
At this point, you should be returned to Composer. Login will then be completed automatically.
