Why offline activation?
Offline license activation is useful in Internet-deprived environments. For example, government institutions and enterprises with high security needs may limit computer use to "air-gapped" locations.
How it works
Only Platform Enterprise accounts are entitled to offline license activation.
No other Player-supported platform other than Windows permits offline license activation.
With the possession of a Platform Enterprise account and your expression of a desire for offline activation, our Support team will provide you with instructions for how to retrieve the unique "DeviceKey" automatically generated by Intuiface Composer and Player for each PC:
- You provide Support with the purchased licenseId to use and each PC's unique DeviceKey (Support will advise you in the use of an Intuiface Diagnostic tool in order to retrieve the DeviceKey)
- Support generates two license files for each PC,
- Support sends those files to you for placement on your PC.
NOTE: Unlike licenses activated while online, an offline-activated license cannot be directly transferred from one PC to another. For device-to-device transfer, the above offline licensing process must be performed for the new PC.
