If you're using restrictive firewall or proxy server settings, you or your network admin will need to white list certain domains and ports to ensure Intuiface Player and Intuiface Composer can work as expected.
Connection to Intuiface servers
Intuiface Player and Intuiface Composer only use an outbound HTTPS connection - via port 443 - to Intuiface servers. As a result, your IT team does not need to permit inbound connections from Intuiface servers, even for advanced features such as the monitoring and deployment capabilities available in the Share and Deploy console.
Access to Intuiface servers for Windows devices
If possible, the simplest configuration is to permit outbound connections to all subdomains represented by *.intuilab.com port 443.
If your IT team is more restrictive, you may limit outbound connections to the following subdomains:
- license.intuilab.com
This domain is mandatory and must be accessible from time to time as described in Frequency of Internet Access Required by Each License Type - data.intuilab.com
- update.intuilab.com
- sharing.intuilab.com
- monitoring.intuilab.com
- s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com
Necessary if you want access to Intuiface sample experiences. - analytics.intuilab.com
- services.intuilab.com
- report.intuilab.com
- sentry.intuilab.com
- social.intuilab.com
- api-explorer.intuilab.com
Only used by Intuiface Composer. - webtriggers.intuilab.com
- myintuiface.intuilab.com
Mandatory for Intuiface players and composer before version 6.0
Access to Intuiface servers for non-Windows devices
If possible, the simplest configuration is to permit outbound connections to all subdomains represented by *.intuilab.com port 443.
If your IT team is more restrictive, you may limit outbound connections to the following subdomains:
- license.intuilab.com
This domain is mandatory and must be accessible from time to time as described in Frequency of Internet Access Required by Each License Type - myintuiface.intuilab.com
- monitoring.intuilab.com
NOTE: As part of our roadmap, Players on non-Windows devices will use the same domains listed above for Windows-based devices. In anticipation, we recommended all Windows-accessed domains be permitted.
Access to Intuiface storage
If possible, the simplest configuration is to permit outbound connections to all subdomains represented by *.amazonaws.com port 443.
If your IT team is more restrictive, you may limit outbound connections to the following subdomains, depending on your location when you created your Intuiface account. (The region we use for your account is based on geoIP data accessed at the time of account creation). To be sure you pick the correct region, please ask the Support Team to provide you with the exact domain from the following table.

Inbound ports which may need to be open
To use remote actions
To use remote actions to control Player from another application (typically a different Player on the same LAN), Player must be permitted to receive inbound connections over port 8000. (This port number can be changed.) See Configure Player and Composer to Receive Remote Actions for more details.
To use IntuiPad
IntuiPad is the Intuiface remote control, giving you the ability to use an iPad or Android tablet to remotely control experiences running in Player on Windows PCs. For details, please refer to the article IntuiPad: Intuiface Remote Control.
