Overview
An account is an independent collection of experiences, licenses, Analytics data & dashboards, and credential keys. It is always associated with a particular organization; the same account cannot belong to multiple organizations.
Use accounts to separate projects, teams, clients, etc. An organization's owner and admins have access to all accounts in that organization. Users only have access to the accounts to which they have been invited.
Note:
- Platform Essential organizations are limited to one account.
- Platform Premier and Enterprise organizations can contain any number of accounts.
Account Management
Accounts are managed using the Accounts dashboard. On this page, an organization's owner and admins can create, edit, and delete accounts within that organization.
Creating an account
To create an account, click the "Create an account" button at the top of the Accounts Dashboard. The "Create Account" pop-up will appear.
For the new account, specify the following:
- The account's name
- Notes about the account (optional)
- Whether this account should have access to Composer licenses in the organization's primary account
- The users in the organization who should have access to this account
NOTE: It is not possible to customize the Sharing ID. Intuiface automatically creates organization IDs and account IDs. The Sharing ID is the resulting combination.
Editing an account
To edit an account, click anywhere in the row of your desired account.
Once in edit mode, you can perform the following actions:
- Change the account name.
- Copy the Sharing ID for this account (used to share experiences with other accounts)
- Add notes
- Grant this account access to the Composer licenses in the organization's primary account.
- Grant or remove access to this account for any users
Deleting an account
To delete an account, open its editor and then click the "Delete account" button located at the bottom.
NOTE: Accounts cannot be deleted if they contain
- Loaned Composer or Player licenses
- Experiences published by this account
- data points for Analytics
- one or more credential keys
