Overview
The following features, products, platforms, and integrations have been discontinued (because they are too old or no longer useful) or deprecated (meaning they have been replaced by something newer). As a result, they no longer receive enhancements, bug fixes, or support. Customers choosing to use any item in this list are doing so at their own risk.
End of Life
- Platforms
- Windows 7
Ended: 21-Sep-2021
A check of our install base and trial prospects tells us Windows 7 has a very small footprint. Plus, Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7 in January of this year. As such, with Intuiface 7, Windows 7 is no longer supported. - 32-bit Windows
Ended: 21-Sep-2021
Most of our users are on 64-bit Windows devices (both for Composer and Player on Windows), so it made no sense to stick with support for 32-bit Windows devices. That, too, ended with the launch of Intuiface 7.
NOTE: If you’re using 32-bit .NET Interface Assets, you must either stay with Intuiface 6 or upgrade those assets for use on 64-bit PCs. - Android 4.4
Ended: Jan-2022
First released in October 2013, then replaced by Android 5.0 in November 2014, this was a hardy version of Android that last shipped in a product eight years ago. The number of devices on the market running Version 4.4 has reached a level of scarcity that no longer merits evaluation within our Android test suite. - Tizen before 6.5
Ended: 15-May-2023
Intuiface no longer supports Samsung devices running Tizen Version 6.5 or older. - BrightSign before 8.5
Ended: 31-May-2023
Intuiface no longer supports BrightSign devices running BrightSign OS Version 8.5 or older. - LG webOS
Ending: September-2023
With the introduction of Player Next Gen comes specific platform prerequisites that webOS cannot currently provide. When webOS can satisfy those prerequisites, we will revisit our ability to support it.
- Windows 7
- Products
- Legacy Player for all platforms but Windows
Ended 15-Nov-2023
With the availability of Player Next Gen, we retired the legacy Player technology used on all platforms but Windows. Now, when you install Player on any of its supported, non-Windows platforms, you're installing Player Next Gen. - Intuiface 6
Ended: 21-Sep-2021
Intuiface 6 no longer receives bug fixes or OS (incl. security) upgrades. - IntuiPad
Ended: 21-Sep-2021
Ah, IntuiPad. Part of Intuiface for about a decade, this remote control for Intuiface experiences was marginalized by App Store requirements, a steady progression of alternative technology, and the ability to control Intuiface experiences through other means. You didn't use it, so you won’t miss it - but we will. Thank you, IntuiPad!
- Legacy Player for all platforms but Windows
- Licenses
- Perpetual License Use Beyond Intuiface Version 6
Ended: 21-Sep-2021
Perpetual license holders (a type of license discontinued a few years ago) are limited to Intuiface 6 software which, as indicated above, no longer receives support.

- Integrations
- Analytics connector for Google Analytics
Ending: 30-June-2023
Google is replacing its Universal Analytics solution with Google Analytics 4. Universal Analytics will be end-of-lifed by Google on 1-July-2023, and on that day, we will cease support for our Google Analytics connector. Intuiface will not be supporting Google Analytics 4. - Twitter Interface Asset
Ended: April-2023
Twitter eliminated the no-fee use of its API to read tweets. (In fact, it removed the no-fee API entirely.) With only for-fee access to the Twitter API, Intuiface discontinued its support. - Personal AWS S3 buckets for experience storage
Ended: 7-September-2023
Users can no longer set personal AWS S3 buckets as the default storage option for published experiences, requiring all new Intuiface accounts to use Intuiface Cloud Storage (which runs on AWS S3). Existing Intuiface accounts with a personal bucket set as the account default can continue to use it, but this ability will eventually achieve end-of-life status as well.

- Services
- Accepting third-party submissions to the Intuiface Marketplace
Ended: Nov-2022
Intuiface users can no longer share experiences using the Intuiface Marketplace. From now on, the Marketplace will only contain Intuiface-created sample experiences. In fact, for this reason, the Intuiface Marketplace has been renamed as the Intuiface Examples catalog.

- Features
- Collections: Helix, Circular Panel, Timeline
Ended: May-2024
Experiences using these collection types will continue to run; you can even add these collections into Design Accelerators or Save As a project, enabling the use of these collections in other experiences. However, they will no longer be accessible in Composer's Collections panel, and Intuiface will no longer improve capability or correct errors. - Asset: Deep Zoom
Ended: May-2024
Experiences using this asset type will continue to run; you can even add it into Design Accelerators or Save As a project, enabling the use of this asset in other experiences. However, it will no longer be accessible in Composer's Assets panel, and Intuiface will no longer improve capability or correct errors. - Interface Asset: Tablet Orientation
Ended: May-2024
Experiences using this interface asset (IA) will continue to run; you can even add it into Design Accelerators or Save As a project, enabling the use of this IA in other experiences. However, it will no longer be accessible in Composer's Interface Assets panel, and Intuiface will no longer improve capability or correct errors.
