Overview
Player on all platforms but Windows has several settings impacting how it will behave in-venue vs. when experiences are published to the web. These in-venue settings are configurable in the Share & Deploy Console, on the Details view of each Player. For the chosen settings to be propagated, a Player restart is required.
NOTE: See the article about Player Settings for Windows if Windows is your target platform.
The value for each setting can be accessed on each device through the Experiences panel of Player. (This includes the Virtual Keyboard behavior for Windows, BrightSign, and Raspberry Pi.) To see them, select the Player Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of the Experiences panel.

Keyboard
- Enable Intuiface virtual keyboard: Specify whether the Intuiface virtual keyboard should be displayed on Windows, BrightSign, and Raspberry Pi devices.
- Default settings for Player-supported operating systems:
- BrightSign: Enabled by default, as the BrightSign OS does not have a virtual keyboard
- Windows: Disabled by default, as these devices typically have a physical or virtual keyboard option.
- Raspberry Pi OS: Disabled by default, as these devices typically have a physical or virtual keyboard option.
- All other supported Player platforms: These platforms have virtual keyboards, so there is never a need for Intuiface to display one.
- NOTE: For web deployments, the virtual keyboard cannot be displayed. For deployment to the web, it is assumed that there will always be a physical or OS-specific onscreen keyboard.
- This setting is not accessible in the Share & Deploy Console and thus can only be configured here in Player
