There are a wide variety of Android-based devices on the market, not to mention the ability to select hardware for a fully customized Android-based system. The variability in hardware makes it quite difficult to anticipate Intuiface Player performance.
That said, knowing the performance of the Chrome browser (both in terms of HTML5 coverage and speed) on a given Android device is crucial to anticipating the performance of Intuiface Player. This is because Player is a hybrid app, meaning while a small portion runs natively on the Android device, a good portion of it runs within Chrome using HTML5. Chrome Browser must be installed and up to date for good results.
Benchmark Testing
You can perform a fast benchmark of your device using the AnTuTu html5 test
- HTML5 performance, measured using this test, scores approximately 24.888 points on Chrome Web Browser for Samsung SM-T510 (Galaxy tab A 2019)
If Chrome performance on your device matches or exceeds this benchmark - and if your device is running at least Android Version 5.0 - then we anticipate Player performance will be good.
Reference Devices
For reference, the following devices perform well:
- Samsung SM-T510
- Samsung SM-T813
To test Player itself, install it from MyIntuiface account under downloads section.
